Telefonica Developer Communities

O2 Litmus is a web-based platform that gives people a forum – together with tools and advice – to test application ideas and make them a reality. Litmus marries up app developers with a wide base of tech-savvy O2 us­ers, who test and feedback on applications in prog­ress, to ensure that customers get what they want and developers have a market for their products.

Open Movilforum is a developer community created by Telefónica in Spain. Its goal is to reduce time to market for developers and to maximize profitability by encouraging the creation and use of apps and services, specifically those that take advantage of Telefónica’s unique capabilities. The site has a wealth of APIs, SDKs, tools, tutorials and is a meeting place for developers and testers alike, adding value throughout the product life-cycle from design and development to commercialisation and support.

Movistar Developers Platform is O2 Litmus’ sister community that allows developers to submit applications to Movistar customers in Mexico.  Applications can be published, tested, and gather feedback by members of the community. The Movistar Developers Platform also makes available to developers a set of tools, including APIs in the Movistar network, and the opportunity to “launch” successful applications backed by the community to the wider Movistar customer base.
